I hesitate slightly flicking the lock up;
leaving that deck door unlocked.
The house is quiet and empty alone but for me.
I still hope even if it is unlikly to come true.
Hope for the chance that one time I will flick that lock,

It was going to be a beautiful night if cold from the lack cloud cover to trap the suns heat in the atmosphere.
Dark blue and silver sandals padded softly down the still warm greyish white pavement beside the usually busy main street. The pale white skin slightly tinted yellow from the street lights in the growing darkness of early night. A sudden warm streak was a nice change from the cool fall weather the last few weeks. Cars bright headlights adding their own unique light to the dark blue world of the night; their headlight lighting up the figure of a slim young woman, the lights reflecting off of the red framed rectangular glasses that covered her blue eyes.
